Welcome to Country Helicopters
We are a locally owned and operated helicopter company based in Gisborne on the East Coast of New Zealand. We offer a range of helicopter services ranging from agricultural spraying, fertiliser and seeding application, through to commercial heavy lifting and charter flights.
We have a versatile fleet of helicopters which are well maintained, each with a specialist set of characteristics to suit different jobs. Our combination of aircraft means we can complete a high volume of work in short weather windows.

Robinson 44 - Raven 2
The Robinson 44 (R44) is a fantastic agricultural helicopter, very manoeuvrable with a great viewing platform in the cockpit. The Robbie suits lower water rate spraying and a cost effective option for smaller blocks.

Hughes 500 - D Model
The 500 is an iconic helicopter which has a proven record of performance in New Zealand's back country conditions. The 500 is our most versatile helicopter suited to most operations including spraying, sightseeing but also lifting work.
Squirrel - aS350-B2
A safe and versatile helicopter. We use the Squirrel for all types of work and it suits higher water rate spraying jobs and heavy lifting work. The 3 bladed articulated rotor design means this helicopter is very stable for heavy lifting and in turbulent conditions.
